MAHUNGA DEFEAT RIVERSIDE DOMINION LIFE CUP. A AND B GRADE MATCHES. During the weekend teams from Riverside and Mahunga Golf Clubs met. the A teams playing at Riverside and the B teams at Mahunga. The first eight players of the A teams competed for tlie Dominion Life Cup. Mahunga wore successful in winning the cup from Riverside by 6 matches to 5. one game being squared. Ward 74, G. R. Beecroft 74, L. A. Curtis 74, H. Wehipeihana 74. The four last mentioned players were the winners of the sealed handicap. ‘MASTERTON CLUB JAMESON C'Op & FOURBALL BOGEY. Play for the Jameson cup was completed by members of the Masterton Golf Club on Saturday, the results being: H. Bell and J. C. Forsyth, 12 up; G. V. Buick and N. G. Whiteman. 11 up. A fourball bogey resulted: J. C. Forsyth and H. Bell. 5 up; G. V. Buick and N. G. F. Whiteman. 4 up; A. F. Stewart and S. A. Mannering, all square.

RIVERSIDE

BOGEY ROUND PLAY. The second bogey round for the Captain's Trophy was played on the Riverside links on Saturday afternoon under ideal conditions. The best cards handed in were: N. Everett, 1 down; R. Bell. J. Ewen, F. Hallam, S. Wyatt. 3 down. Ladies: Mrs Emery, 4 down. MAHUNGA CLUB LADIES’ GAMES. WEEKEND RESULTS. A medal round was played by the lady members of the Mahunga Club on Saturday, the following being the best net scores:—Miss O. Long 71. Mrs G. R. Turner 73. Miss W. Reed 74.
