IRON CROSS
AWARDED TO MAX SCHMELING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, June 14. Max Schmeling, the boxer, whose death in Crete was reported and later denied, has been awarded the Iron Cross, second class, and promoted, according to a Berlin message.
