OBITUARY

MRS T. M| APLIN. The death occurred this morning of Mrs Susannah Miriam Aplin, wife of Mr Thomas Aplin, of South Road, Masterton. The late Mrs Aplin was born at Wai-nui-oru 67 years ago, the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Smith. Later the family moved to Clareville. Following her marriage, Mrs Aplin resided in Carterton for a period, before coming to Masterton in 1914. She has resided here ever - since. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Messrs Ken and Eric Aplin (Masterton) and one daughter, Miss Grace Aplin (Tauranga), The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving the late residence, South Road, following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
