CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIPS. FURTHER RESULTS. Further results of the Wairarapa and Southern Hawke's Bay centre championships in connection with the Dannevirke Dog Trials are as follow:— Open Longhead (about 600 yards): J. McGaveston’s (Waipukurau) Zoe, 47J points. 1; F. Wiltshire's (Pahiatua) Roy, 47 points, 2; M. J. Wilton's (Maslerton) Bessie Wallace, 461 points, 3; W. Thom's (Hastings) Hemp, 46 points, 4: C. Wiffin's (Dannevirke) Star and C. W. Thom's (Weber) Boy. equal. 451 points. 5. There were 58 competitors. Longhead.—Maiden Dog: J. S. Tait's “Y,” 431 points, 1; W. J. Smith's (Takapau) Dick, 421 points, 2; F. H. Moody's Flo. 361 points. 3. Shorthead competition: W. Aitcheson 1. C. Thom 2.' C. Vallance 3. Longhead competition: C. J. McDonald 1. J. Smith 2, T. M. Guthrie 3.
