OBITUARY
MRS HENRY EVANS. The death occurred at Wellington this morning of Mrs Ada Annie Evans, I wife of Mr Henry Evans, of Railway Road, Solway. The late Mrs Evans was the third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J. Ewington, pioneer settlers of the Wairarapa, and was born at sea on the voyage from England to New Zealand (17 years ago. Held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends, the news of her death will be received by them with feelings of deep regret. Besides a husband, two daughters (Mesdamcs W. Gemmell. Masterton. and J. C. Johnston. Palmerston North) and one 1 son. Mr Joe Evans, she leaves two bro-! thers (Messrs J. C. Ewington and J Barry Ewington, Masterton) and a sis-1 ter. Mrs F. McCurdy. Thames. The funeral will take place tomor-l row. leaving the Chapel of Hyde's! Funeral Service Ltd., following a ser-1 vice at 3.30 p.m. for the M asterton I Cemete.ry.
