OPAKI

COOPER’S BARN DANCE GATHERING ON SATURDAY NIGHT. There was a large attendance for the first dance this season held in Mr Cooper’s Barn. Opaki, on Saturday night. The floor was in excellent order and those present considered the gathering most enjoyable. The music was supplied by Jack Barnes's orchestra and extras were played by Miss Jean McKay (piano accordion). Mr W. Cooper was M.C. Miss M. Cooper and Mr F. Lambert won both Monte Carlo waltz competitions. Supper was sowed.
