IN WESTERN HEMISPHERE. AGREEMENT WITH UNITED STATES.. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. June 8. The United States Secretary of State, Mr Cordell Hull, has announced details of an agreement between the United States Government and the French High Commissioner, Admiral Robert, in regard to French colonies in the Western Hemisphere. The French High Commissioner will see that the colonies are not armed against the interests of the United States. The agreement also provides for the patrol of American planes to Martinique and Guadeloupe. It also allows the colonies to buy food supplies from the Americas provided they are not re-exported to France or French North Africa.
