CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow and also at Kuripuni at 8 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening at St. Matthew’s Church. Mr J. F. Jaine will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni, and that at Upper Plain will be in charge of the Rev. H. Taepa. The services at Knox Church and at Kaituna tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie. At 6.45 p.m.) there will be a community sing in Knox Church, and after church a social will be held in the McGregor Hall. At the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow evening Captain and Mrs Maddison will be tendered a farewell gathering. At the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow, the services will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur. Mr McNeur will also hold services at Mauriceville West at 1.30 p.m.. and at Eketahuna at 3 p.m. The service of the Masterton Baptist Fellowship tomorrow, at 11 a.m.. will be conducted by Mr E. J. Salisbury, of Wellington, in the Y.M.C.A. building. Sunday School will be hold at 10 a.m., and a cordial invitation to attend is extended to those children who do not belong to any other Sunday school. The services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be "The Glory of Going On." and in the evening. "Fag-End Religion.” There will be an afternoon service at Rangitumau. The evening service at Kuripuni will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge. Mr E. J. Salisbury, of Wellington, will conduct a Back to God campaign in the Y.M.C.A. rooms tomorrow. The addresses will commence at 3.15 and 8.15 o'clock. Mr Salisbury, who lias addressed meetings throughout New Zealand. is staled to bo a fluent and interesting speaker.
