Cabled advice has been received by Mr and Mrs Ken Welch, of Makora Road. Masterton. from their son. Pte. 11. S. (“Bruiser”) V/elch. stating that he is fit and well after the campaign in Greece and Crete. No further word has been received by Mr and Mrs Welch regarding their eldest son. Temporary Company Sergt.Major J. K. Welch, who has been reported missing in operations in Greece,
