ON NORTH AFRICAN FRONTS TORRID HEAT IN DESERT. SOME SPASMODIC BOMBING AT TOBRUK. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) RUGBY, June 6. A Cairo communique states that the situation is unchanged on all fronts. A correspondent reports that there has been practically no activity in the Western Desert, where the heat has been terrific during the last few days, the thermometer registering 135 degrees. The Germans still hold Halfaya Pass and several posts, including Mussaid, along the Egyptian frontier. The only activity at'Tobruk has been spasmodic bombing.
