STATE FOREST
’WAIRARAPA AREA ACQUIRED. A. notice appears in this week's Gazette to the effect that a property of 1718 acres in the Otahoua and Rewa survey districts, being portions of the WhaTeama and Pahao.a blocks. has been acquired under the Forests Act, 192'1-22, as a State forest. The property is one recently occupied by Mr A. G. Tinkham and is about \8 miles from Masterton on the Stronvar Road. The propr rty is on the south side of the road ar.d lias a frontage to the main highway c f about a mile.
