THEFT CHARGE

MAGISTRATE ADJOURNS CASE. In the Masterton Magic.'.rate's Court today, before Mr IT. P. Lawry, S.M.. James Donovan, To Ore Ore. was charged with the theft c.f a bicycle. Mr R. McKenzie appeared for Donovan? and pleaded not guilty. He submitted that Donovan had bought the cycle from a soldier who was leaving for overseas service. After hearing evidence the Magistrate adjourned the case for a fortnight to enable further evidence io be given on behalf of accused.
