NAVAL AWARDS

K.C.B. FOR VICE-ADMIRAL. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 3. Though the list of the first appointments and awards for services in effecting the withdrawal from Greek beaches of Allied armies includes the name of Vice-Admiral H. D. PridhamWippell as receiving a K.C.8., his. appointment is also made in recognition of his fine service in command of His Majesty's ships at the Battle of Cape Matapan. Rear-Admiral H. T. Baillie-Grohman receives the C.B.E. Other awards include one C.8.E., two 0.8.E.’5, two bars to D. 5.0., five D.S.O.’s, 14 D.S.C.’s, and 19 D.S.M.’s.
