BRITISH CONVOY REACHES GIBRALTAR. SAID TO HAVE COME FROM CRETE (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) VICHY. May 31. It is reported from Algeciras that heavy gunfire was heard in the Meditforranean today. The German radio from Algeciras said that a British convey carryin? troops from Crete has arrived in Gibraltar, and that it included an aircraft-carrier and battleship.
