GERMAN ARRESTED IN NEW YORK. (By Telegraph—Pjess Association—Copyright) LONDON, May 31. A Berlin spokesman has disowned Dr. Kurt Reith, who was arrested in New York and taken to Ellis Island pending deportation proceedings. He declared that Dr. Reith had not contacted the Reich Government since his retirement from the German Foreign Office in 1934. Dr. Reith is charged with giving a false explanation of his entry into the United States.
