PROGRESS IN ABYSSINIA. PATRIOT FORCES GROWING IN STRENGTH. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.25 a.m.) RUGBY. June 1. A Cairo communique states: “There is nothing important to report in Libya, "In the Lakes area of Abyssinia, our preparations to round up scattered elements of the enemy recently defeated in battle are progressing. Further north, patriot forces, which are daily growing in strength, are actively harassing the remaining Italian detachments. "In Iraq, our forces have now reached a general area about ten miles west of Bagdad.”
