An actress asserts that women should have cleaner minds than men. They should have, considering the number of times they change thorn. A bachelor whose landladj' was supposed to mend his clothes, grew tired! of finding his pyjamas always without buttons. In despair he pierced (lie lid of a cocoa fin and sowed it to his pyjama jacket as a hint. When the jacket was returned, he found the lid still there, and opposite it a buttonhole of equal size.
