A Nairobi communique states: “Operations in the Lakes area of Abyssinia, and the west, are proceeding, and a number of deserters have corne over to our forces. Patriot activity is still increasing. Their attacks on enemy communications and outlying detachments are of great assistance to f«ir operations generally.
