Patriot forces in Abyssinia report that the whole area from Soddu to Moggo, about 70 miles to the north, is entirely clear of the enemy. It is learned in London that the Italians have evacuated Devarech. fifty miles north of Gondar, on the road to Adowa. They are retreating to Gondar, where they are rapidly being hemmed in by patriots under British ocicers.
