NAZI BLOCKADE-RUNNER. CARGO OF WAR MATERIALS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 29. The German merchantman Lech which has been intercepted by one of his Majesty's ships while attempting to run the British blockade, sailed from a South American port carrying a mixed cargo, which * included the following items: G 3 tons of nickel. 1048 tons of dry salted hides. I2GO tons of castor oil in drums, 1500 tons of cotton seed cake. 5891 kilos of mica, 25 tons of rock crystal, 9GO kilos of coffee. With the exception of the last-named item, all these consignments would have been of considerable importance to the German wm’ indusfrv.
