Mastertoil, yesterday afternoon. An apology for absence was received from the president. Mrs Rich. A competition arranged by Mrs Kent Johnston was won b.v Mrs Frank Gray. An address on China was given by the Rev J. R. Higgs. 8.A.. F.R.G.S., of Kowloon. He was accorded a vote of thanks for his interesting address. Items were given by Mrs Cummings (pianoforte solo). Mesdames Burke and Snowsill (duet) and Miss D. Heckler (recitation). Afternoon tea was served
