AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS
LECTURES IN MASTERTON. The Nursing Division of St John Ambulance Brigade will inaugurate a course of instruction in air raid precautions, commencing on Monday, June 9, at 7.15 p.m. in the lecture room, Municipal Hall, Masterton. The lecturer will be Miss Van Staveren, of Wellington. Text books (price Is) can be obtained at the first lecture. The charge for the course is ss. The lectures will include instruction concerning personal protection against gas, decontamination of materials, incendiary bombs, gas-proofing a room, demonstration of gas mask, first aid and nursing for gas casualties, and demonstration in artificial respiration. Each lecture will cover’ not less than 1A hours.
