ANNUAL TOURNEY SATISFACTORY ENTRIES. WELLINGTON TEAMS TO COMPETE. In connection with the draw for the annual hockey tournament at Masterton on the King’s Birthday (June 2) each club secretary or captain will be advised by circular full particulars of the draw. Very satisfactory entries have been received, there being 34 men’s and 25 ladies’ teams, including teams from Wellington and Upper Hutt. Arrangements are well in hand, and there is every prospect of a very successful tournament. The games will commence at 8.45 a.m. sharp, and players and umpires are asked to be on time so that there will be no delay at the commencement of play.
