FORESTERS’ LODGE MEETING LAST NIGHT. U‘Times-Age” Special.) Bro. Fauvel presided, at the ordinary meeting of members of Court Makakahi, A.0.F., last night. Apologies for absence were received'’, from Bros. H. Leslie and B. Booth. The Woodward reported that there were seven members on the sick list. Correspondence was received from the District Secretary in regard' to medical benefits under the Social Security Act, and from the local chemist relative to the new arrangements for the supply of medicine. The secretary was instructed to interview the local doctor in connection with the medical benefits to lodge members. The arrangements for a farewell gathering to be tendered to Bro. R. Fauvel were left in the hands of the secretary. Personal. Mr A. Donald and Colonel McDonald. members of the Wellington Education Board, paid an official visit to Eketahuna yesterday. Mrs H. Elliot, of Eketahuna, has received cabled advice to the effect that her son, Private Alby Elliot, who was with the N.Z.E.F. in Greece, is safe and well.
