MINISTRY MAKES APOLOGY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON. May 27. Mr H. G. Nicholson in the House of Commons said the statement that the Duke of Hamilton had received a letter from Herr Hess, based on information supplied by tho Ministry of Information, had since proved to be erroneous. Sir Archibald Sinclair gave the true facts on May 22 and tho Ministry regrets that more careful verification was not made and apologises i for tho statements which may have led to doubt of the Duke of Hamilton's integrity.
