BOWLING
MASTERTON PARK CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING HELD LAST NIGHT. The annual meeting of the Masterton Park Bowling Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last night. The president, Mr R. Wallace, presided over an attendance of fifty members. Several apologies for absence were received. The annual report (published in yesterday's issue) and balance sheet were adopted. Several members referred to the past season as having been most successful. It was decided to give the delegates to the Wairarapa Bowling Centre a free hand in connection with the Booth Cup competition. The delegates will be appointed by the committee at a later date. Votes of thanks were passed to outgoing officers for their excellent work during their term of office. After some discussion it, was decided to hold the usual club competitions. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr E. J. Burke; vice-presi-dent. Mr A. Osborne: treasurer, Mr A. Osborne; secretary, Mr H. M. Smith: committee. Messrs R. Wallace, A. Kilgour. C. Leigh, F. Dixon, J. Fcrgusson.
