Public interest in the national emergency has resulted in new records of incoming mail, says "The Times” Washington correspondent. President Roosevelt’s mail alone averages ten thousand letters daily. There is an avalanche of mail for Congressmen. Some members say there is a striking shift of public opinion towards increased aid for England and China, even at the risk of war.
