AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS
OVER EIGHT THOUSAND IN CANADA. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 26. The Canadian Press says that more than 8,200 United States citizens have joined Canada’s fighting forces, of whom 6.400 are in the Army, five hundred on the staff of ferry pilots, and 1,300 air crew students in training.
