A Masterton visitor to Napier is Mrs R. D. Perry. Mrs R. J. Daniel, of Atea, is an inmate of the Pahiatua Public Hospital. Mrs J. W. Perry, of Masterton. is a visitor to Napier. Mrs A. C. Major, of Masterton. was a weekend visitor to Pahiatua, as the guest of her sister, Mrs G. Godfrey Taylor. Misses Nina and Lottie Boddington, who are on. the staff at the Rongotai Aerodrome, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr and Mrs H. M. Boddington, Masterton. Many farewell parties have been tendered in Wellington to Miss Waveney Harding, of Masterton, who will leave by the Monterey early in July for Sydney, where her marriage to Mr Albert Clarke will take place. Mrs G. Benge, Wanganui, is on a round of visits to her daughters, Mrs R. Jones, Masterton, Mrs A. Winchcombe, Martinborough, Mrs W. M. Luke, Khandallah, and Mrs J. L. Wilson, Hataitai.
At last night’s meeting of the Wairarapa branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association, Miss Perry, of the Mastertori Hospital staff, was presented with a travelling manicure set. Miss Perry has been called up for overseas service.
