A Cairo communique states: "Repairs to the bund and roads in the virility of Fallujah (whore the country is heavily flooded) are proceeding. "Operations against a rebel concenralion about six miles up the Tigris com Basra were successfully carried >ut by our troops in co-operation with he Royal Navy and the R.A.F. ‘•The situation in Basra is quiet."
