CONSCRIPTION ISSUE
MOVE BY NORTHERN IRELAND. CONCERN CAUSED IN EIRE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, May 24. It is officially stated in Dublin that Cabinet and the leaders of the Opposition met to consider the situation regarding the application of conscription to tlie six counties. The Prime Minister, Mi- do Valera, summoned the Dail lor May 26 to receive a statement on a matter of urgent public importance. Tiie "Irish Times" says: "We realise the British Government has a strong case but consider the enforcement of conscription would be a grave mistake."
