CHURCH SERVICES

The evening service at St. Matthew’s Church. Masterton, tomorrow will be a special Empire Day .commemoration service. Archdeacon Rich will be ( the preacher at all services at St. Matthew's Church. The usual services will be held at Kuripuni, Upper Plain and the Public Hospital. A welcome will be given in the Salvation Army Hall, Masterton. tomorrow to the new corps officers. Major and Mrs Ransom. The services at the Masterion Presbyterian Church and at Kaituna tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie.

The Masterton Baptist Fellowship will meet in the Y.M.C.A. Building tomorrow morning, at 11 o'clock, and will be addressed by Mr W. Teeboon. The Sunday School and Bible Class will be held at 10 a.m.. and the weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday, at 7.30 p.m.

At the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow, the services will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur (morning) and R. Dickie (evening'. A special service at Eketahuna tomorrow will be attended by the Mayor and members of the Eketahuna Borough Council. The services at the Masterion Methodist Church tomorrow will bo conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be "The Experience of a Warmed Heart," and in the evening, “The Genius of Methodism." Throughout New Zealand the Methodist Church will observe tomorrow as “Wesley Day" to commemorate the work of John Wesley. Mr F. G. Rutter will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. Next Thursday will be the Foreign Mision day. ' when Dr. Allan Rutter will be the speaker.
