GREYTOWN

GOLF CLUB SECRETARY AND TREASURER RESIGN. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Golf Club Committee met last evening. The president (Mr J. Kiernan) occupied the chair, and there were also present: Messrs J. C. Feast, L. Curtis, H. W. Feast, 11. R. Feast, E. Williams and H. G. Carter. The Carterton Golf Club wrote stating that it would not be playing interclub matches this season. Mr L. Curtis tendered his resignation as secretary, as he was now residing in Carterton. Mr A. G. Peterson resigned as treasurer. Mr G. Burns was appointed secretary and treasurer. Authority was given to the secretary to have score cards printed. Messrs F. C. Bunny and G. Burns were appointed to operate on the Club Post Office account. Home Guard. The ambulance and signal sections of the Greytown Home Guard will each supply units to work with the mounteds at Morison’s Bush, and the infantry at the Memorial Park on Sunday.
