GOLF CLUB DRAW FOR COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A Stableford bogey competition will be played by members of the local Golf Club on Saturday. The draw is as follows: —Ladies: Mrs Herangi v. Mrs Sutherland; Mrs Bragg v. Mrs Carter; Mrs Stewart v. Mrs McKenzie; Mrs Tikao v. Mrs Thomas. Men: W. Stewart v. N. Hume; J. Riwai v. M. McLeod; D. Tikao v. M. Herangi; M. Waiwera v. T. Hume; D. Didsbury v. G. Sutherland; S. Thomas v. J. Carter; F. Lovegrove v. V/. Charteris; R. Lovegrove v. G. Hall; S. Hall v. D. Charteris. Mrs Herangi was the winner in the ladies' section of the bogey competition played last Saturday. Influenza Prevale,nt. Influenza and other ailments arevery prevalent in the district, especially among the younger people. Personal Items. Mrs J. Phillips, Wellington, is visiting her daughter, Mrs A. Spicer. Miss S. Holmes, Dunedin, is slaying with her parents. Mr and Mrs E. C. Holmes, Te Hopai. i Miss Hay-ward is spending a holiday with her grandfather, Mr Geo. Hayward, Lake Ferry. Mrs C. Edwards, Featherston, is the guest of Miss J. Scrimegour, Tauanui. Mr A. Te Maari is visiting Tologa Bay. ’ Mr and Mrs Anderson have been visiting relatives here.
