PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) The last mail from the New Zealand troops in the Middle East brought an interesting letter from Sergt. J. W. Barnard, of Greytown, in which he stated that he had met G. R. Jury, another Greytowh soldier of the last war. Mr G. Brunton left today on a holiday visit to Auckland. Borough Council. The new Greytown Borough Council will hold its first meeting on Monday night. Volunteer Fire Brigade. The secretary of the Grey town Volunteer Fire Brigade acknowledges with thanks honorary members’ subscriptions from Messrs M. J. Greathead. W. A. Tate, G. May, J. Parker, W. H. Day, Mrs Bower. Hockey Teams. The Kia Kaha team to play Kia Ora at Masterton on Saturday will be: K. Maloney, L. Crawley, D. McCarty, M. McKenna, G. Reid, P. Sugrue, B. Woodley, I. Svenson, E. Bouzaid, M. Keltic, R. Peterson. The bus will leave the, Post Office at 1.50 p.m.
The Greytown men’s team against Wesley at Greytown is as follows: Dewhurst, Keltic, Anker, McKenzie, Eccles, Brown, Rees, Anker, Strange, Bouzaid, Hobson, Trotman, Dauber.
