FOUNDERS’ SOCIETY

BUSINESS AT ANNUAL

MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Wairarapa branch of the Founders’ Society was held in Masterton last night. Mr G. R. Sykes presided.

It was decided to hold in Masterton on Wednesday, June 11, a gathering for all old residents of the district. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr G. R. Sykes; committee. Mesdames Robert Miller, H. E. Pither, R. C. Drummond, Misses S. Tankersley, O. lorns and Messrs Burke and T. Cripps. Mr Sykes outlined the year's activities. He pointed out that little had been clone on account of the number of members working on patriotic committees. It was the desire of all to keep the Society functioning.
