GLADSTONE

INSTITUTE MEETING (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Gladstone Institute was held in the Gladstone Hall yesterday, Mrs Joblin presiding. The delegate, Miss Cooper, gave an interesting report concerning the council meeting. The cooking competition was won by Mrs Palmer, and the bloom competition by Mrs Smith. Mrs Wellwood gave an interesting talk on the adventures of her brother (Dr. Myers) in the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan.
