DONATION OF £lOO RECEIVED. FOR BENEFIT OF RETURNED SOLDIERS. The Masterton Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society has received a donation of £lOO to the funds. This donation is specially earmarked for use among returned soldiers and their dependants within the scope of Red Cross activities. This money will operated on as a special fund and will be of the greatest assistance in carrying out Red Cross work among returned men and i assisting to make their time in hospital : as comfortable and happy as is possible and in giving help to their dependents ' where cases of distress may occur.
