KILLED IN ACTION
SERGEANT J. S. 1-1. DRING. LATE RESIDENT OF TAUERU. Included in the latest official casualty list is the name of Sergeant John Stanley Horton Dring. of Taueru. Masterton, who was killed in action. Sergeant. Dring, who was a wellknown and popular farmer at Taueru, enlisted in Masterton on January 4, 1940. and entered camp with the Second Echelon on January 12. He is survived by his wife, teacher in charge of the Taueru School. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to Mrs Dring in her bereavement.
