MEETING OF MASTERTON BRANCH ; PAST MONTH'S OPERATIONS. GIFTS OF INFANTS' GARMENTS. The monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the Plunket Society was held yesterday afternoon. Those present were: Mesdames J. Caselberg tin the chair). J. D. O'Connor. S. L. P, Free, J. M. Coradine, A. F. Stewart. D. Donald, W. A. Michael, P. Nathan. J. V. Gordon, H. H. Daniell, C. A. Carmine, E. G. Norman, and R. Miller (Mauriceville sub-branch). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames R. C. Drummond, T. C. Richardson, E. G. Eton, Sortain Smith, T. Jordan, T. W. Wardell, N. Irwin and J. C. Broad. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mrs lan Bunny in the tragic death of her infant daughter. The draft annual report and balance sheet was presented by the president tor approval before being sent to the Dominion Council. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Caselberg for her excellent report and to the lion, treasurer for the extra amount of work involved in the preparation of accounts for the auditor. , Accounts amouting to £7l Ils lid. were passed. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on Wednesday, June 25 at 2.30 p.m. The nurses' report for April stated: —Visits to office: Adults, 423; babies, 406: pre-school children. 27; telephone, 132; total, 988. Visits to homes: New cases, 29; old cases. 109; total. 138. Pre-school children seen in homes, 12. New cases for the month, town, 16; country, 1. Outstations: Tinui subbranch, Tinui, Annedale, Homewood, Riversdale, one visit each; Blairlogie, 2 visits. New case, one; visits to new case, 1; to old cases, 20. Mauriceville sub-branch, Mauriceville East and West. Kopuaranga, Mangamahoe, 2 visits; Ihuraua Valley, 1 visit. Visits to homes. 23. Pre-natal section, visits 10. Thanks were accorded to Mrs Kibblewhite, Mrs I. Speedy and per Mrs Jordan, for infants' garments.
