MAURICEVILLE
DISTRICT SPORTS CLUB PROFIT OVER RECENT MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The wind-up meeting of the Mauriceville District Sports Club was held in the local hall on Monday, when a statement of accounts was submitted by the secretary. The amount raised at the meeting by the E.P.A. and the profit over the meeting amounted to £25, which had been handed to the Provincial Patriotic Fund. The com? mittee wishes to thank all those who gave donations, tho judges and other officials who helped to make the gathering a success. Mrs A. MacDonald was accorded, a vote of thanks for her effort in collecting funds and making the piping and dancing events so successful. Dance at the Hall Tonight. In the Mauriceville Hall tonight a social gathering and dance will be held at which Mr .1. L. Clarke will be the guest of honour. Special arrangements have been made in order to ensure that patrons will spend a thoroughly enjoyable time. The prices of admission will be: Men 2s, ladies Is 6d.
