The Minister oT Labour, Mr Bevin, in ;in address today, said; “We art* on parade now. Never mind the croakers and oilier people. We are winning, and winning every lioni‘. All it needs now is greater and greater production in order That we can meet Hitler on his own ground.'' The Minister was addressing munitions works trainees. Mr Bevin recalled the fact that nearly 90 enemy night-raiders have been brought down in the first few days of this month, and he described the present daylight immunity from air attack as a great victory judged by the situation as it appeared last year. Calling for a, greater industrial effort. he said that when parity and beyond had been obtained in every sphere of munitions, he "could see the end of this business."
