MEETING HOUSE COMMITTEE’S ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Te Ore Ore Meeting House .Committee was held yesterday afternoon. Mr L. Pike presided over a good attendance. On behalf of the committee Mr Pike made a presentation of- a wristlet watch to Mrs R. Te Tau, secretary. Mr Pike referred to the excellent work carried out by Mrs Te Tau in raising funds to rebuild the meeting house and expressed appreciation of her services on behalf of the natives. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr L. Pike; secretary, Mrs R. Te Tau; joint treasurers, Misses M. and N. Hacata; committee, Mesdames Wirapeipi Himona, Riria Himona, .S. Mikaera, D. Nini, R. Rariera, Merepika Rimene, Misses T. Haeata, E. Pura, the Rev. H. Taepa, Messrs Albert Himona, D. Himona, A. Mikaera, T. Te Tau and M. Rimene.
