AIR FORCE CASUALTIES
« ACCIDENTAL INJURIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The following R.N.Z.A.F. casualties were announced today:— Pilot-Officer Leonard Rodney Hewitt, suffering from synovitis in the right knee as a result of an aircraft accident. His mother is Mrs F. O. Hewitt, of Christchurch. Sergeant Ivor Wilders Porter Evison, injured in flying accident and suffering from superficial burns on face and hands. His mother is Mrs O. Evison. of Hastings. Sergeant Douglas William Tong, injured in flying accident and suffering superficial burns on face and hands. His mother is Mrs D. R. Tong, of Auckland.
