Shipping losses for April, which were announced today, total 106 British, Allied and neutral ships, of a tonnage of 488,000, made up of 60 British ships, of 293,000 tons, 43 Allied, 189,000 tons and three neutral, of 5,500 tons. The Atlantic .figure shows an improvement, but the total includes ships lost in the Mediterranean during the withdrawal from Greece.
