EFFECT OF NAZI BOMBING
(By Telegraph—Press Association J LONDON. May 8. The City of London finance committee reported that bomb damage up to March 31 had reduced the City's rateable value by 11 per cent.
Among well-known buildings that were damaged in the recent raids on Plymouth, were (he Guildhall, the Alheneum, Plymouth Library, and the Sailors' Rest.
