The following official weather report and forecast was issued by the Meterological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— FORECAST: North - westerly winds becoming fresh or strong in exposed positions; rain developing in and about the Tararuas tomorrow, but weather otherwise fair and mild. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Westerly weather, southerly possible late on Monday. LOCAL REPORT. Masterton: Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.48. Shade temperature: Maximum 56.8. minimum 40.2, terrestrial 30.5. Sunshine, 5 hours 30 min. The sun rose today at 7.16 a.m., and sets at 5.18 p.m.
