EKETAHUNA

ALFREDTON ROADS REPAIRING FLOOD DAMAGE. (“Times-Age” Special.) Repairs to roads in the Alfredton district have been in progress since the heavy floods of the weekend, and the highway from Eketahuna to the Tiraumea Post Office, by way of Alfredton, is now open. The stream near the Winiata homestead has been temporarily bridged and is open to light vehicular traffic. From Tiraumea on, the road is still closed. The main damage in the district was inflicted on the county roads, the main highways not having suffered to any appreciable extent. All county roads in the district are still closed.
