A professor of singing and elocution. Mr Robert Sewell, of Lancaster, has been left more than £BOOO by Mr Walter V. Dewhurst, a Lancaster stockbroker. In his will published in London, Mr Dewhurst said: “His friendship was the sole happiness vouchsafed to me in my earthly career." He also left him his piano “as a memento of lhe happy times which we have spent together over our music."
