WORKMEN’S FRIEND No. 2. z MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The monthly meeting of the Workmen’s Friend No. 2 Building Society was held last night, Mr Wm. Kemp, chairman, presiding, there being also present Messrs A. V. Dixon, C. W. Walker, E. H. Morton, A. E. Hubbard, E. J Brown, T B. Braggins, S. M. Gilding and H. L Price An application for the transfer to six shares with appropriation was approved subject to certain formalities being complied with. An application for the repayment of a mortgage before due date was approved subject to certain conditions. The secretary was instructed to obtain further particulars regarding a security offered for a previous appropriation.

It was resolved that, subject to the repayment of a mortgage being made, an appropriation of £4OO by ballot and £4OO by sale be made at the June meeting of directors.
